The workweek begins with stunning weather across Maryland
The First Alert Forecast remains dry, mostly clear and chilly Sunday night.
Monday features beautiful weather. The first morning of the workweek begins with temperatures in the mid to upper 40s in many neighborhoods. Sunshine sends temperatures into the mid and upper 60s by noon. Temperatures peak in the low to mid-70s across Maryland Monday afternoon; warmest around Montgomery, Howard and Prince Georges Counties.
Monday afternoon features a light breeze, low humidity and plenty of sunshine. Enjoy it.
Tuesday feels more summer-like as sunshine pushes afternoon temperatures into the mid to upper 80s across greater Baltimore and much of Maryland. It'll remain in the 70s adjacent to the bay and Atlantic coast. The warm-up comes ahead of the next cold front and chance of rain. A few showers, storms are possible Tuesday evening and night. The chance of rain is greater in western Maryland. A few strong storms with gusty winds are possible there Tuesday evening.
Additional spotty showers arrive Wednesday.
Temperatures hover around 80° through the latter portion of the workweek. An unsettled weather pattern remains. Thursday brings another, slightly greater, chance of scattered showers. A few rumbles of thunder are possible. The chance of rain and storms peaks Friday, ahead of a cooler and drier weekend.
