Fired Maintenance Workers Suing Women In Sex-For-Repairs Scandal

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- New developments in the Baltimore public housing sex-for-repairs scandal.

Two former housing authority maintenance workers--fired for allegedly demanding sex before making repairs--are suing 17 women for defamation.

That's according to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun.

Charles Coleman and Michael Robinson say they were fired from their jobs based on false allegations the women intentionally made for financial gain.

The men, according to The Sun, want $6 million for compensatory damages and $30 million from each of the defendants for punitive damages.

An attorney for the women plans to file a motion to dismiss the case, The Sun reports.
