Fire Kills Elderly Woman In Owings Mills
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ)-- An early Sunday morning fire rips through a Baltimore County apartment building killing an elderly woman inside.
Fire crews were called to Straw Hat Road in Owings Mills around 8 a.m.
Firefighters found the body of 77-year-old Marlene Miller inside her apartment. Investigators say it appears that discarded smoking material sparked the blaze.
