Baltimore City Health Commissioner Dr. Letitia Dzirasa Offers Tips On Preventing Spread Of COVID-19

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore city health officials updated residents about the latest cases of coronavirus Wednesday and discussed how to read the city's COVID-19 dashboard.

Dr. Letitia Dzirasa again reminded residents how they should safely celebrate Halloween, but discouraged traditional trick-or-treating.

Dzirasa gave tips and tricks about safe Halloween celebrations and broke down the city's most recent numbers.

As of Wednesday, the city has 17,000 of COVID-19 and reported 480 deaths.

Maryland's statewide positivity rate is again above 3% and due to the increase in cases it's back on the travel quarantine list for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
