Virtual reality program explores racism by putting users in others' shoes

A virtual reality program designed by an Ivy League professor allows users to walk a mile in the shoes of a black child, teenager, and man in order to experience what racism is really like. Dr. Courtney Cogburn, an associate professor at the Columbia University School of Social Work, joined CBSN to explain the inspiration and goals behind her program.
