New sanctions target Russia's major banks and President Vladimir Putin's daughters

The U.N. General Assembly is set to vote today on whether to remove Russia from the Human Rights Council. Meanwhile, the U.S. and its allies have issued new sanctions on Russia’s largest financial institutions and Vladimir Putin’s own daughters.
