Heart attacks in pregnant women are on the rise

A recent study found that about one in four pregnancy or postpartum deaths are caused by cardiovascular complications. Hypertensive disorders in particular cause increased risk of heart failure, heart attack and stroke. Dr. Tara Narula spoke to one new mother whose cardiovascular complications could have reached life-threatening levels.
