Two teens shot in Balch Springs; chase ends with two arrests, police say
Balch Springs police say two teenagers were shot overnight after officers responded to a shooting on Pioneer Road. When officers arrived, a suspect vehicle took off, prompting a chase. The driver and passenger were arrested on gun and drug possession charges. A teen in the back seat had a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to the hospital. A fourth teen later arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound as well. Both are expected to recover. Police have not said who fired the shots.
