Travelers still stranded at DFW as American Airlines works through massive backlog

Days after the winter storm, DFW International Airport remains packed with travelers who’ve been unable to get home. Many passengers say the ongoing cancellations and delays — more than 1,000 American Airlines flights on Monday alone — no longer feel weather‑related. Lines were smaller Tuesday but still steady as the airline worked to prep aircraft and dig out from its backlog of grounded flights.
