Tracking North Texas storm chances for Monday, Tuesday
Monday is a First Alert Weather Day due to a conditional threat of severe storms Monday afternoon and evening. Another First Alert Weather Day is in effect for Tuesday, too, due to a cold front that will ignite a scattered risk of damaging winds, large hail and flooding.
Monday will be hot, breezy and cloudy. A low-level jet is increasing moisture and wind; gusts could reach 40 mph in the afternoon.
