Supreme Court temporarily blocks full SNAP payments

The U.S. Supreme Court has temporarily frozen an order requiring the Trump administration to provide full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program payments to about 42 million Americans. The decision came on Friday as the administration faced an end‑of‑day deadline to cover in full food assistance for November. Some states, including Wisconsin, had already begun distributing partial payments to recipients ahead of the ruling.
