Power company acknowledges its facilities may have sparked the Smokehouse Creek fire

Xcel Energy, a Minnesota-based utility company, said in a statement Thursday that "its facilities appear to have been involved in an ignition of the Smokehouse Creek fire." Xcel is disputing claims that it "acted negligently."
