Pope Leo presides over first Good Friday service

Pope Leo presided over his first Good Friday service at the Vatican, continuing a full slate of Holy Week observances. He participated in the Passion of the Lord liturgy and led all 14 Stations of the Cross at the Colosseum. His Holy Thursday observance included washing the feet of 12 priests, a shift from Pope Francis’ tradition of washing the feet of prisoners.
