North Texas student describes the reality of living with type 1 diabetes

Jada Howard was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 8 years old. "It was a big adjustment, but I got used to it as the years went on," she told CBS News Texas. She hopes to continue spreading awareness and educating others about what it means to live with type 1 diabetes.
