North Texas murder suspect seeks venue change after fleeing trial

Lawyers for Trevor McEuen, a North Texas man accused of capital murder, are requesting a change of venue for his upcoming trial in Kaufman County. McEuen allegedly cut off his ankle monitor and fled the day his trial was set to begin in May. He was missing for nearly a month before being found at his grandmother’s home in Van Zandt County.
