North Texas man on trial for 2018 death of 18-month-old boy

Sedrick Johnson is accused of serious bodily injury to a child in the death of his girlfriend’s 18-month-old nephew. Police said Johnson confessed to dumping the boy’s body. The child’s remains were found in a landfill in Rowlett.
