New VA spinal injury center in Dallas marks milestone in veterans’ care
A major milestone in veterans' care was marked in Dallas with a beam-topping ceremony for a new long-term spinal cord injury center. The facility will include inpatient beds, therapy and recreation areas, and a rooftop garden to support recovery. Officials say the center will improve access to care for North Texas veterans when it opens in 2027.
