Mesquite fire chief Keith Hopkins prepares for life-saving kidney transplant, guided by faith
Chief Hopkins and his wife Amy will both have surgery on Tuesday at AdventHealth Porter in Denver.
The chief will receive a new kidney, while his wife will have one of hers removed to be donated to someone else on the registry, who is still waiting for their perfect match.
