Kaufman nonprofit serving adults with special needs seeks help to stay open

In Kaufman, just outside the Metroplex, a nonprofit called Bee Happy is transforming lives through a day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization offers friendship, purpose, and job training—often through daily outings and a homemade ice cream shop run by participants. But with funding tight and demand growing, Bee Happy is asking for community support to keep its doors open.
