Judge sends 8 Johnson County ICE attack suspects’ cases to grand jury after security lapses reveal
A federal judge in Fort Worth has sent the cases of eight people accused of attacking the ICE detention center near Alvarado on July 4 to a grand jury. During a lengthy hearing, officers’ body camera footage was shown, and an FBI agent testified that the facility had little to no security that night due to major staffing shortages, calling it a “soft target.”
