Hospital worker assault at Baylor Scott & White renews calls for increased security and safety measures
Sources say a 76-year-old woman, a longtime and beloved employee at the hospital, was working as what’s known as a direct observer or sitter. She was assigned to sit with a patient to watch over him. It's not clear how long she was there, but at some point, it seems he got violent.
