Halperin Bridge Park opens, reconnecting long‑divided Oak Cliff over I‑35
Halperin Bridge Park officially opened today over I‑35 near the Dallas Zoo, reconnecting two parts of Oak Cliff that were split by the highway decades ago. Hundreds gathered for the celebration, which featured music and fanfare.
