Fort Worth firefighters describe 200‑foot crane rescue
Fort Worth firefighters say they climbed more than 200 feet up a construction crane to reach an operator who couldn’t get down on his own. The crew told us it was the first time any of them had performed a rescue at that height, describing what it felt like to scale the crane and bring the man down safely.
