Former North Texas camp leader pleads guilty to embezzlement
A former leader of Camp Thurman has pleaded guilty to embezzling camp funds for personal use between 2021 and 2022. Prosecutors say the exact amount is still being calculated, but estimates place the loss at roughly $300,000 or more. The defendant now faces up to 99 years in prison at sentencing.
