Driver accused in deadly Parker County crash surrenders, police say
Nearly five months after a five‑vehicle crash on FM 730 in Azle that killed two people and injured three others, the driver accused of causing it has surrendered. Investigators say 48‑year‑old Tammy Jo Lawrence veered into oncoming traffic in September. She turned herself in this week and is now facing intoxication‑related charges in the Parker County Jail.
