Audit reveals years of neglected cases at North Texas police department

An internal audit at the Keller Police Department uncovered that a detective failed to properly investigate dozens of cases between 2019 and 2022. The issue came to light in January 2025, when a newly promoted lieutenant conducted a case audit.
