Atmos Energy asking Dallas to approve rate increase

Atmos energy is asking the city to approve a rate increase of roughly $48 million in annual revenue. They say that would amount to about a 15% hike for the average residential customer, or about $14 more a month on your bill. If approved, the new higher rates would take effect on June 1.
