American Airlines adjusts boarding times

American Airlines is implementing changes to its boarding policy today, adding five minutes to boarding times for all domestic mainline flights. This adjustment aims to give gate agents and flight attendants more time to complete pre-departure tasks, such as checking overhead bin space to reduce involuntary bag checks at the gate.
