Abbott signs summer camp safety bills after deadly Kerrville flood

Gov. Greg Abbott signed three major bills into law at the Governor’s Mansion, joined by families of the 27 victims who died in the Camp Mystic flood in July. The legislation is designed to prevent future tragedies at Texas summer camps and improve emergency preparedness statewide.
