9 McKinney firefighters recovering after being hurt battling a house fire

A firefighter responding on the second floor became disoriented, losing air and issued a mayday call. The department says nearby crews quickly coordinated a rescue to pull him to safety. In the end, nine firefighters were taken to the hospital. All were treated for smoke inhalation and overexertion before being released.
