2 inmates die within 2 days at Tarrant County Jail, officials say
The first death happened on Monday, June 15. The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said a 40-year-old man was in his cell when his cellmate noticed he was suffering from a medical emergency. Deputies said they performed life-saving measures and transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
