The Louvre museum was hit by a brazen daytime jewel heist, forcing the Paris institution to close its doors for a second day in a row.
"Charrería" is a traditional Mexican equestrian sport that combines horsemanship, roping, and cattle management.
Until mid-August, the jar was on display at the entrance to the Hecht Museum along with several similar artifacts.
It's called "Walk this Way: Footwear from the Stuart Weitzman Collection of Historic Shoes."
