A coyote captured after three children were attacked at Parkway Central Park has tested negative for rabies, the city of Arlington confirmed Friday.
Officials are searching for more coyotes and other aggressive animals.
Signs flashing "Beware of coyote activity" are now up at Parkway Central Park following three children injured by coyotes since Feb. 10.
Officials with Dallas Animal Services say they aren't sure if any of the coyotes killed in the Lake Highlands neighborhood is the one that attacked a 2-year-old.
While officials in Dallas say they are still looking for the coyote that attacked a 2 year old boy, they were able to capture and kill another coyote Wednesday night.
He's expected to make a full recovery, but the coyote that attacked him continues to elude authorities.
Some residents are frustrated and said they believe that the hunt should have started before the animal attacked a two-year-old near White Rock Elementary.
