WWW (Warm, Windy Weekend)

A warmer start to our weekend than just yesterday morning. Friday it actually hit the freezing mark briefly at the DFW Airport. Cold nights have been rare inside the Metroplex this winter. We start March on Tuesday, the average last freeze is only a couple of weeks away:

Back into the 70's today after a five-day run of cooler weather. Great start to what looks to be a great (but windy) weekend:

The typical high this time of year is in the 60 degree range. Last week's "cold spell" was really just a return to more typical temperatures for this time of year. We'll end a warm February with more warm weather. Last year we suffered through a very cold February so I guess this is a payback:

Very windy start to the day tomorrow with more cloud cover. But highs will get into the mid-70's before a weak cold front slides through. It won't produce much more than a 10% chance of rain tomorrow night in our eastern counties:

There is a slight chance for some showers in our eastern counties Monday. The next best chance of rain arrives Tuesday morning on Election Day when a stronger cold front arrives. Storm chances will be tempered by the fact we have the front arriving in the morning hours. It'll be windy with falling temperatures during the afternoon Tuesday with the coldest day of the week falling on our Wednesday. Then it warms up again.
