JOHNSON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) -
UPDATE: Johnson County authorities have confirmed that they have found the body of 33 year-old Sandra Jones.
Deputies in Johnson County were searching for a woman in flood waters this morning on CR913 at the Rock Creek bridge.
According to Sheriff Alford of the Johnson County Sheriffs Department, firefighters from ESD, Burleson and Joshua, as well as Swift Water Rescue were on the scene searching for the missing driver.
A witness says that the female occupant was washed out of the vehicle down stream just after midnight on Friday. Authorities were able to confirm the woman wasn't in the car around 4 a.m. when the water lowered enough for them to be able to inspect the vehicle.
A firefighter from Johnson County Emergency Services observed the vehicle being washed off the roadway. The vehicle was located down stream approximately a fourth of a mile from the bridge.
At the time of the incident, water was out of the banks of Rock Creek by ten to twelve feet allowing the creek to widen close to 100 yards.
Alford says that a plan is in place to resume the search for the missing woman around 8 a.m.
