Wednesday's Warriors: Teen Fights Leukemia, Earns Full Ride To Harvard

(CBS11) - Maria Perez Franco, 17, has taken her fight against cancer and will to live to a new level.
Perez was diagnosed with acute lypmphoblastic leukemia two years ago. Despite her diagnoses, she kept a postive attitude, not only about her health but life in general. She stayed busy studying, even while in pain from her hospital bed.
Perez even managed to graduate as one of the top students in her high school; earning a scholarship to Harvard!
Talk about an inspiration!
