Weather Hitting Super Bowl Budgets Hard
DENTON (KRLD) - The bad weather has hit many businesses in North Texas looking to take advantage of the Super Bowl crowds...right where it hurts...in the wallet.
The Denton Airport has seen over 20 cancellations and has lost thousands of dollars since their runway has been iced over. The Denton Airport is currently using a jet engine equipped truck to try and blast away the ice.
Officials say they hope the runway will be open in time for the weekend to make up for losses during the week.
