Warm and Getting Warmer

We are going to start a nice trend (for an April month) this week: above normal temperatures and relatively calm conditions. Rain chances of any significance don't show up again until next weekend:

Today starts our run of above normal daytime highs. After a cool start (down the low 40's this morning!) we have a rather dramatic warm-up of over 30° degrees as temperatures climb into the upper 70's. Monday gets even warmer, into the low 80's. It'll be warm in the stands at Globe Life as the baseball season starts for the Texas Rangers:

The next rain chance shows up on Wednesday as a weak cold front sweeps through. Only a 10% rain chance ahead of the front and still mild temperatures behind it:

Here is your extended forecast. April and May is the heart of our severe weather season here in north Texas. Nice to get a round of mild weather to start it.
