ROWLETT (CBSDFW.COM) - The tornado cleanup in Rowlett and Garland has begun, but for those separated from their pet during the tornados help is still needed. That's why the all volunteer army of the Friends of Rowlett Animals are parked in a big yellow Penske rental truck each day giving out pet products that might be needed.
"We are providing whatever needs they may have, you know food, leashes, collars. We've even supplies some families with the outdoor kennels because their fences have blown down" said Dawna Carabajal.
"I saw on Facebook that they needed volunteers, so I just decided to go volunteer and you can too" said Kelly Hooper.
