Virtually No Chance For Scandrick With Cowboys This Weekend
By Mike Fisher | @FishSports
DFW AIRPORT (105.3 THE FAN) -- Cowboys sources tell 105.3 The Fan that there is "virtually no chance" defensive back Orlando Scandrick will be available to the team for Sunday's game at Tennessee.
The NFL is working on an agreement on a new drug policy that would've retroactively altered the boundaries and allowed Scandrick to come off the suspended list and be activated for Sunday.
But the deal isn't finalized at this moment. My quick scan of the manifest shows no Scandrick on the team flight.
And while he could fly his own from his home in Los Angeles to Nashville, the red tape and logistics mean the team is assuming he won't be able to be activated by the league-mandated 4 PM Eastern time deadline.
