CLEBURNE, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Cleburne police are hoping someone will recognize the woman seen on a security video as she steals crosses from a front porch on Sunday.

During the theft, the woman seems to look straight up toward the camera, so the video captures a very clear view of her face.

She calmly removes one cross after another from the wall and then, as an after-thought, she also stole a pair of shoes belonging to the couple's son.

The couple don't recognize the woman but they're pretty sure someone will identify her because her face is so clearly shown on the video.

The homeowners say the crosses hold sentimental value and would like them to be returned.
