Video Of 16-Month-Old Swimming Sparks Debate
NORTH TEXAS (CBS 11 NEWS) - A YouTube video of a 16-month-old swimming alone across a pool has more than a million-and-a-half views.
Adam Christensen posted the video of his daughter Elizabeth, who learned Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) techniques from an instructor in North Texas.
On The YouTube post Christensen explained that his daughter performed the feat after the professional training, and noted that he is a registered nurse and that his wife was a lifeguard for six years.
Some viewers of the video are uncomfortable with the way Elizabeth flips over gasping for air and question her safety. Let's us know what you think on the CBS 11 Facebook page.
