VIDEO: 18-Year-Old Arrested After Posting Video Of Assault On Facebook

DUNCANVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - Duncanville Police have released shocking video that shows an 18-year-old hitting two other teens in the face at a local park.

According to police, 18-year-old Cameron Hendrix, posted the video on his Facebook page bragging about the assault.  Duncanville Police Detective Jeff Pollock found the video and within six hours had taken Hendrix into custody.

The incident happened at Armstrong Park.  Hendrix has been charged with assault and felony injury to a child.  The victims have been identified as a 17- and 14-year-old.

Duncanville Police search social media every morning looking for things like this, said department spokesperson Sgt. Ross Dobelbower.

"We want to get the message out that if you do this kind of thing in Duncanville, we're going to find you and put you in jail," he said.

Police say they have not identified the person who videotaped the crime.  The investigation continues.
