CARROLLTON (CBS.DFW.COM) - Police are investigating an overnight vandalism spree involving dozens of vehicles in a residential area.
Lt. Doug Mitchell with the Carrollton Police Department says there have been more than 60 reports of vandalized vehicles on Saturday. The vehicles were all parked on streets between West Trinity Mills Road, North Josey Lane and Highway 121.
Mitchell says police first started getting calls around 3:00 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators say it appears that eggs had been thrown at cars. Vehicle windshields, windows and exterior mirrors were also broken.
Investigators have acquired a surveillance video that shows a group of young men in a white four door sedan driving up to a parked pickup and break the windshield and outside rear view mirror.
Police have not identified any suspects at this time.
