Uber Delivering Adoptable Puppies In Dallas
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Car service Uber is delivering puppies in need of a good home across Dallas on Wednesday, January 28, from 11 am to 3 pm in an event the company is calling the puppy bowl.
For $30, customers can order a puppy from Dallas Animal Services, that will be delivered to an address of their choosing for 15 minutes of cuddle time.
Customers can order the puppies through the Uber app from 11 am to 3 pm. All the puppies are available for adoption.
"We are thrilled to partner with Uber and Animal Planet to bring our beautiful puppies to the people of Dallas," said Dr. Cate McManus, Dallas Animal Services. "This promotion raises adoption awareness for these wonderful animals ready to find their forever homes."
Uber has dome similar events with other animal shelters across the country. This is the first time such an event has been held in Dallas. The Puupy Bowl is also going on in nine other cities. Customers are posting their experiences on social media using #UberPuppuBowl.
