COLLEYVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - More than half a dozen area fire departments joined Colleyville firefighters in putting out a fire at a two-story office building Sunday.

The fire started shortly before 8:30 a.m. at Schroeder Orthodontics.  It took more than two hours for firefighters to get it under control according to fire marshal Robert McKeown.

McKeown says the building was full of smoke when firefighters arrived and there was zero visibility inside the building so firefighters attacked it from the outside.  Due to the heat, crews were rotated on and off to keep firefighters fresh and from being overcome by the heat.

Area children brought bags of ice and bottles of water to the firefighters which McKeown says means a lot.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

No one was injured.
