#TrustFallChallenge Risky, But Totally Worth The "Likes"

(CBSDFW.COM) - Kids these days… seems like they're pushing the boundaries more and more, recording their antics and sharing them with the world via social media faster than you can say "Snapchat."

The latest trend? Something used in rehabs and corporate "team building" exercises across the country – the "Trust Fall Challenge" or #Trustfallchallenge.

It's your typical trust fall, minus the warning. Teens pick a stranger, friend - anyone who isn't aware of what's about to happen -- and fall backwards (hopefully into their arms). Of course, another person in on the prank is recording the whole time. So when the kid falling isn't caught, and ends up a pile on the floor - boom - internet buzz is born. It's a pretty simple prank - nothing new, and neither are trust falls. What's new is the viral popularity of the hashtag #TrustFallChallenge, which took off just this month.

The trend seems fun for teens and thus far, no injuries were reported during the challenge... but still, why can't today's youth stick to the ice bucket challenge? Back in my day a little ice and water never hurt anyone, and it's for a good cause. #old
