NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is out with a new book that reads like a campaign manifesto but provides little in the way of new detail on how he plans to achieve policy goals.

The book is titled "Crippled America" and it hits the shelves on Tuesday.

Trump is using the book to make the case that he has the experience and business savvy to accomplish things that traditional politicians can't.

Trump also talks about how he'd used the news media to his advantage in his campaign so far.

It comes as Trump is continuing to adjust to a new phase of the campaign in which the once undisputed front-runner is now facing heightened competition from a number of his rivals.
