To celebrate its 8th birthday, Twitter is letting you take a look back at your first tweet and everybody else's.
Twitter's first tweet tool lets you type in any handle for quick access to anyone's first tweet.
We looked up some of the first tweets from a few of CBSDFW.com's people.
TWITTER BAN BACKFIRES
A plan to ban Twitter in Turkey actually backfired on the country's government.
Widespread twitter outages were reported in Turkey right after the country's prime minister – who is in the middle of a corruption scandal -threatened to shut the social media site down.
But the plan to silence Turkey on social media didn't go as planned.

The hashtag #twitterisblockedinturkey started trending across the globe, and Turkish users turned to tweeting via text message instead of logging onto the Internet. One tweeter posted a picture, with a modification to a line from the famous Gil Scott Heron poem.
