Bieber Statue Comes Down

Bieber fever has backfired for the pop star.

Madame Tussaud's in New York has removed Justin Bieber's wax statue from its museum.

Not because of all the trouble the teen heartthrob has found himself in lately, but because his loyal fans can't keep their hands -- and in some cases lips -- off the statue.

Thousands of Bieliebers have kissed and cuddled with the statue -- and all the attention has apparently taken its toll.  The statue just about three years old.

Cats & Kids

A new program gets kids cuddling up with a good book -- and a cat.

The program is called book buddies and it helps kids work on their reading skills, while giving shelter cats some much needed attention.

The Animal Rescue League in Pennsylvania started the program for kids aged 6 to 13.

Donations to the shelter spiked after a photo of a boy reading to a cat was posted on Reddit.

Volunteers and adoptions have also increased.

Miley Cyrus is not the only one in the family making new music.

Her dad -- Billy Ray -- has remixed his biggest hit, "Achy Braky Heart" into a rap song.

Billy Ray has teamed up with rapper Buck 22, for Achy Breaky, Part 2.

In one verse he raps -- "Miley keeps twerking, daddy's song is working, now Billy sing that crazy hook again!"

You can hear Billy Ray scream, "Wrecking ball!" in the background.

The video has more than a million views since it was posted yesterday -- and if you like the song, you can get it on iTunes.
